I primarily create oil paintings of botanicals from a world I've imagined, often using plants as metaphors for the human experience. Through nature's ubiquitous cycle of life and death, I aim to create works that offer refuge, solace, and calm, while also exploring deeper human themes. These botanical portraits and landscapes provide a means to communicate psychological states and address social issues veiled through a playful, allegorical visual language. For me, this imagery allows an exploration of the emotional connection between personal experiences and universal stories.
